SAFETY AWARD FOR CLEAN USDOT INSPECTION
Each driver is eligible to receive a monetary safety award for receiving a clean USDOT inspection. The incentive is designed to award drivers for conducting exceptional pre- and post-trip inspections as well as ensuring their trip and hours-of-service documentation is in acceptable order.
DRIVER SIGN-ON BONUS
Each new driver is eligible to receive a Driver Sign-On Bonus after meeting eligibility requirements. To be eligible for the Driver Sign-On Bonus, the driver must not have been an employee of Lansberry Trucking, Inc. previously and must meet specific minimum service requirements. EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS
Any employee is eligible to receive an Employee Referral Bonus for referring another qualified employee to the organization provided that employee is hired and the employee meets our hiring and service requirements. Please contact the Safety Department for additional information on this program.
ANNUAL DRIVER SAFETY AWARD
Drivers are eligible to receive an Annual Safety Award at our Annual Safety Breakfast for meeting the following criteria during the eligibility year:
- No accidents;
- No moving violations;
- No USDOT violations received in a roadside inspection;
- No hour-of-service violations;
Further, eligibility for an annual driver safety award are impacted by:
- Satisfactory work attendance;
- Annual tractor revenue; and
- Limited frequency of maintenance issues.
ANNUAL DRIVER OF THE YEAR AWARD
Our Driver of the Year Award started in 2010. Through an objective process that maintains strict requirements including zero moving violations, zero log book violations, and attendance, we arrive at the winner of the Annual Driver of the Year Award. Drivers who qualify for an Annual Driver Safety Award are then placed into consideration for the Annual Driver of the Year Award. The highest scoring driver among this group receives the Driver of the Year Award. The winning driver is awarded the Driver of the Year Award at our Annual Safety Breakfast held in June.
